HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVE 🧸❤️💚

I didn’t want my boys to miss out this year, and despite the claw hand, and frozen shoulder, I designed this bear wreath to match our decorations.
Traditional colours, with a sprinkle of Gold, the bear was my favourite little design this season, and I just had to have one at home.

Christmas for an artist started in October, designing, and planning transitional windows, booking in new and regular clients.
I’m so utterly greatful for my 3rd Christmas doing what I love ❤️, and that wouldn’t be possible without this little app.

I’ll be turning off this afternoon and just wanted to take the time to thank you all for you continued support.

My lovely client had seen my tree in a local cafe, and wanted something to celebrate the season, and some birthdays.
Adding in a beloved pet, and some gifts under the tree. 🌲 🎁

I have one more window to share tomorrow before I sign off to enjoy time with friends and family. ❤️💚

It’s been so manic the last few months, that I have so much unseen footage on my phone.
This is my third Christmas 🎄 and I’m still experimenting with products and techniques.

It was such a cold day, snow, steaming glasses and heaters on the single glazing.
It wasn’t an easy ride, but absolutely buzzing how it turned out.

Sometimes the conditions can be too cold 🥶…. Single glaze VS Snow ⛄️ = melted 🐧🥴

When it happened I did a quick facial, but as a perfectionist, I couldn’t rest until poor Penguin 🐧 had a had a full mini makeover.

I like the windows to be visually appealing for the client and customers. Going that extra mile, fixing any hick ups as all part of the service.

Customer service is vital in any Buisness, and I want to always make sure my customers, new and old are happy with the designs 💙💙💙💙

Wow what a season! I have a couple of smaller jobs left and a few little updates, but wanted to reflect on the season and pass on my gratitude.

It’s my 3rd Christmas and this year was by far the busiest. With huge amount of experience in retail, multi site management, as well as a background in art, I like to always reflect, learn and build on what I can do better next year.

I have some very exciting plans on how to build my business, and I can’t wait to start working on them.

EDX EDUCATION @edxeducation has had the Christmas 🎄 🎁 elements added to its office.
I started this project back in October.
Taking on the challenge of drawing all the amazing educational toys and equipment they distribute internationally.

The hands on educational materials support children’s learning, through play in the classroom and at home. So we wanted to elements to come to life.

So I designed the window, as if a child was playing with them. (yes I had a go 🤣)
And then today I added tress and presents 🎁

Ever since this stunning studio opened in town, I’ve been dying to pop in. The windows are beautiful, fabric, cushions and curtains so dreamy!

So when the lovely @tidy_interiors_softfurnishings asked me to add some Christmas magic to her studio, I knew it had to reflect the stunning pattern’s and designs.

It was so lovely finally catching up.

I wanted my last forest window to be a little different.
I had a vision of a mythical layered, forest tunnel, with hidden wildlife. This took me an hour to design, and 9-5 to draw using @poscaoficial pens

In summary I have;
Been Painting in the most amazing coffee shop, watching the naughty squirrel 🐿️ popping into to use the facilities 🤣
Meeting lots of lovely customers, and scaring a few dogs 🐕 by standing in the window. What a lovely way to end the window season.

I have a few more jobs this week, and next, and will then be hanging up my @posca_uk pens and paint for the season ❤️

The white foliage wreath was one of the first things I painted at home before I started my mural journey.
Decorative wreaths are sometimes just the finishing touches to doors, but this year o started to introduce larger scale wreaths with houses and owls. 🦉 ❤️

The best thing is, they don’t dry out, they last, and they can be customised to your requirements!

The white wreath was one of the first jobs I did when I started my little Buisness.

There is something so beautiful about the white art, delicate foliage and detail that goes into making/illustrating a wreath.

I like to try lots of different styles when I complete my murals, but I always come back to the detail in my original designs.
Hopefully my signature style is recognised on the high street.

Restoration complete. For all of you following my story and reaching out, thank you 🙏🏻 I’ve never had so many messages.
Sadly accidents happen, but in this case it was clear children were left to destroy the bear, and the entire window.
It’s heartbreaking when this took me over a day to paint.
As a mum of two boys, I get that kids can be kids, but it takes ALOT of scratching to take off a bears face and ruin an entire window. It would have taken hours and been very noticeable to adults.

So please 🙏🏻 parents, do not let your kids damage 2.0 🐻❤️
He is well loved by everyone that visits, including my own children. We’d like the bear to last the seasons and bring joy.
